The creator of Gumby and Pokey, died today in his home. Art Clokey created Gumby in the 50s, said to be based off Clokey's father who died when he was growing up.Gumby had over 200 episodes over a span of more than 30 years, and spun off movies, video games and a line of toy merchandise as well.
Art Clokey was 88.
