Another year, another Potato Research Day.
I was a bit busy this start of August, with organizing that summer departmental BBQ and getting ready for Potato Day too.
I was seconded for another short presentation this year, so I had to get some slides together for this. I arrived in the morning to help set up a bit too, but there wasn't much that I was needed for.
The weather was a bit crappy (rainstorm), so the schedule was re-arranged and my talk was moved to the morning. Nonetheless, I have had talks with these folks before so it was a breeze to get through. A ton of questions later, we finally waited out the storm to head out to the demonstration plot.
Another successful day gone by, but thesis writing really should commence again... *hrm...*
