I don't know why I was so afraid to work with puff pasty, it was really simple (duh, it's premade!). The only problems I had was that my egg wash wasn't quite sticking the way I hoped, and some of the turnovers popped open a bit while baking.
These weren't quite as crunchy and delicious as I was hoping, but for my first time working with puff pastry, I'd say they worked out very well.
